The Role
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience in consumer product development to join our team. You’ll design, prototype, and bring to production a range of products, owning your work from early concepts to factory hand-off. You’ll collaborate closely with industrial designers, engineers, suppliers, and clients, often juggling multiple projects at different stages.
What You’ll Do

Own mechanical design from concept through tooling release for consumer products.

Translate design intent into production-ready CAD, drawings, and BOMs with appropriate GD&T.Apply DFM/DFA principles to optimize parts for cost, quality, and manufacturability.

Work directly with domestic and international suppliers to resolve tooling, quality, and assembly issues.

Rapidly prototype (3D printing, CNC, in-house builds) and iterate based on test results.

Support EVT/DVT/PVT builds, integrating supplier feedback into design updates.

Manage design documentation, ECOs, and revision control.

Contribute to the creative problem-solving process in multidisciplinary project teams.









What We’re Looking For
Required
-
3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience with shipped consumer products.
-
Proficiency in SolidWorks (Onshape familiarity a plus).
-
Proven experience with injection-molded plastics and light metal fabrication.
-
Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
-
Demonstrated application of DFM/DFA in collaboration with manufacturers.
-
Experience creating and managing BOMs and ECO processes.
-
Hands-on prototyping skills and comfort in a shop environment.
Preferred
-
Exposure to international manufacturing and supplier liaison (Asia experience a plus).

Knowledge of IP ratings, FEA fundamentals, or mechatronic packaging.

Experience with assembly fixtures and testing protocols.
